Rogers Email Settings for Mac Mail (Apple OS X)

How to configure Mac Mail to retrieve Rogers emails?

Launch Mac Mail. Select Mail Preferences, click the Accounts tab.

Put your account description, like "My Rogers.com". In the Email Address field, enter your full Rogers address. Enter your name in the Full Name field.

Incoming Mail Server

The Incoming Mail Server should be set to: pop.broadband.rogers.com

In the user name field, enter your email account (without @rogers.com) and enter your password in the password field.

Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP)

The Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP) should be set to: smtp.broadband.rogers.com. Do not check the “Use only this server” box. Click the pulldown tab that says “smtp.broadband.rogers.com. Select “Edit SMTP Server List...”

Check “Use default ports (25, 465, 587).

Uncheck “Use custom port”.

Uncheck “Use Secure Socket Layer (SSL).

Authentication should be set to: Password.

Enter the user name in the field (without @rogers.com).

Enter your Rogers mail password.

Click OK. Click the Advanced tab.

Make sure your Port is set to: 110.

Uncheck the “Use SSL” box.

Authentication should be set to: Password.

Done!
